Miss
What is the age range for Miss Bay County?
For the competition cycle beginning June 2024, the Miss division is open to women who will be at least 18 and no older than 27 as of June 15, 2025. Scroll down for the Teen age requirements.
What is a closed pageant?
Miss Bay County is a closed pageant, meaning that the young woman representing Bay County must be a part of this community by living or working in Bay County or by attending Delta College full-time. The Teen is open, scroll down for more information.
Is there a cost to compete?
There is a $30 entry fee due to the Miss America Opportunity each competition cycle. It is only required once per year, not per pageant. There is an entrance fee for the Teen, scroll down for more information.
Do I have to compete for Miss Michigan?
Yes, one of the responsibilities of Miss Bay County is to represent our community at the state competition.
What are the categories for the competition?
Contestants compete in a 10-minute private interview with the panel of judges. In the on-stage portion of the competition, contestants compete in talent, on-stage question, fitness, and evening wear.
Teen
What is the age range for Teen?
For the competition cycle beginning June 2024, the Teen division is open to women who will be at least 14 and no older than 17 as of June 14, 2025.
Is there a cost to compete?
Yes. The Miss Bay County Teen pageant is a fundraiser for the Miss Bay County Scholarship Program. The cost to enter is $75.
What are the categories for the competition?

Who runs the Miss Bay County Scholarship Program?
The Miss Bay County Scholarship Program is run by an Executive Director (ED) and a Board of Directors. The current ED is Linda Bilhimer.
